Skaal leadership was tasked by a client with managing the development of a customized mobile application that would control the backroom inventory of each retail store in their network.
This mobile application used a combination of bar code readers, central cloud based data flows and instore location identification to create a more efficient experience for the client’s in store staff. Skaal leadership managed the project from prototype build, testing and improvement cycles. Then directed the establishment of an internal application development team for the client to continue application evolution, maintenance and support.
The mobile application allowed the client to track inventory efficiently leading to better store front consumer experiences that in turn lead to increase per store financial performance.
